Cocoa Brown, Angela Robinson, Monti Washington, Lil Dee Dee & Others Join Prince Carter in Honoring the Iconic Tyler Perry
From sleeping in his car to becoming the newest Black Billionaire in Entertainment: It’s all the more reason why Tyler Perry deserves his roses
A Powerful man of Hope, Faith and most of all Love; Tyler Perry whom we all have come to know and love on many levels. Mr. Perry have brought us truth, joy and sometimes tears while watching his perfectly curated plays and movies. Mr. Perry most definitely can answer this question of what it means to have surmountable faith. He stayed optimistic with his head to sky in the midst of many challenges.
The celestial musical group Sounds of Blackness sings it all so well “Optimistic” as long as you keep your head to the sky you can win.
Tyler faced many mountains of abuse, sorrow, and negative words being spoken over his life that was hard but not impossible to move along with the endurance to run his life’s race because of the instructions his mother gave him, the word of GOD.
Tyler shares an emotional letter to his younger self:
“…when you’re told that you are nothing and something says don’t believe that and when your teacher sits you down and tell you that you’ll never be successful because you are poor and because you are black, cause you are from the ghetto… There’s something inside you that says she is wrong… That will light a fire in you. It maybe hard for you to understand right now but you will get to a point where you will use all of it, every bit of it. You will become better, you’ll become tougher. When you get older you will use it in your work to uplift, encourage and inspire millions of people” — via CBS This Morning
Regardless of what anyone had told him young Tyler always believed in his heart that one day he would have the ability to care for his mother, while changing the lives of people in his community and even globally.
Due to his achievements in television and his commitment to offering opportunities to marginalized communities, Mr Perry have consistently helped others whether personal or through The Perry Foundation programs of inclusion, engagement, employment and other philanthropic initiatives.
Tyler Perry continues to keep the faith daily making this world a better place than what he found it to be. Winning no doubt being OPTIMISTIC keeping his head to the sky.
